A customer grinding wheat & barley for his pig herd has recently installed 2x Skiold DM-6 gravity hammer mills to speed up his feeding time.
Both machines are simply fed into the mill.from augers through a weigh scale.
After milling the ground feed is augered up to either of the mixer or holding bins where each mill has a magnet on the intake tube to help keep out ferrous items from entering.
DM-6 machines can be fitted with motors from 11 – 30kW and have outputs up to 6 tph.
