One of our longstanding customers who in 2004 installed a Tub grinder - now 20 years on have upgraded to the modern, smaller, safer SBB range of bale breakers.
The customer has seen the following:
- A reduction from 87kW's down to 14kW's to do twice the throughput.
- Removed a risk of fire which is inherent to all tub grinders.
- His operations no longer need to use a gantry to access the strings.
- We estimate a 95% reduction in maintenance and spares due to the less aggressive nature of the SBB 1400
