Our drying / aeration laterals have just been installed into a new grain store near Lichfield, Staffordshire. The strong galvanised laterals consist of a trough section with a rebate either side to accept the interlocking drive over top plate, having perforations for either OSR or Wheat.
The laterals are laid on a firm level bed of concreate and the top drive over sections are covered with clear wrap so when the concreate is poured between the laterals it protects the aeration holes from becoming blocked. Once set the wrap is removed and the system can be used.
