As of the 1st April 2023 Danagri-3S will welcome two major changes to its management and ownership structure.
Known previously as ABC Hansen and Cormall UK, we have been offering our expertise and support to the UK agricultural sector for over half a century. Over this time the company has grown from a supplier of small equipment to a significant importer and distributer of large fixed equipment from leading worldwide manufacturers such as Skiold, Cormall, GSI, BM Silo, Hutchinson, Jema, Damas and many others. This growth and development has been spearheaded for the last three decades by the companies managing director Mr Mark Unitt with support from the board of directors for more than 30 years.
We very much see ourselves as a “family” run business which has helped us build generational bonds not only with our suppliers and dealers but most importantly our customers. However, the time has now come for the same generational progression for the company itself.
As of the 1st April 2023 Danagri-3S will welcome two major changes to its management and ownership structure. Charles Toogood who has been with Danagri-3S for more than 15 years building relationships with suppliers, customers and staff in his previous role as service manager, will be appointed as joint managing director to work alongside Mark Unitt until April 2024. Charles and Mark will continue to operate as joint managing directors until April 2024. At that time Charles will take on the sole role of managing director and Mark, whilst remaining as a board member will take the role of sales director.
The majority shareholder Thoraso from Denmark which is owned by current board member Henrik Hougaard, will complete the sale and transfer of majority shareholder to Henrik’s son Rasmus Hougaard who at that time will be appointed as chairmen of the board. Rasmus has already served on the board of directors for a number of years and represents a generational continuance for investment and belief within the UK agricultural market from our Danish partners. He comes with the combined knowledge and influence of Henrick as well as a youthful drive to further the company. At the same time, Mr. Charles Toogood will also become a shareholder in the company and join the board of directors.
These changes in management and ownership represent our belief in the family ethos of the company and would afford our customers a seamless change to how the company operates whilst investing in our future for decades to come. In the coming months both Charles and Rasmus will be visiting current suppliers and customers as well as beginning to look into new avenues to continue building on our success.
