This has been sold to a customer near Banbury to help optimise their production of animal bedding. (Mainly equine)
The system comprises of a bale table to accept bales or loose straw, a bale opener to help feed straw wads into the shredder, our SBB1400 single rota shredder, stone trap, hammer mill, reverse jet filter system, rotary valve and briquetter.
With the right conditioned straw, It is capable of 3.5 t p/r and has been sold with the extra option to use a Briquetter to help with the control and use of the dust waste material.The Briquetter will not only compact the amount of dust material meaning 70% less storage space required for the volumes produced, it also means, the would be waste material can now be sold as loose bedding for smaller animals like chickens. Thus increasing overall profitability.
