Our Skiold range of 102mm, 152mm and 220mm diameter augers are proving very popular at the moment for transport of meals, grains or minerals.
These augers are built far stronger and heavier than traditional UK augers with a thicker tube and flight, bearing on inlet end, many inlet and outlet options and gear driven motors which allow for several different speed ratios giving more torque from less power, no belts or chains to maintain and lengths are available up to 20m long in modules of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 & 3.0m lengths
The auger below has just been installed by Martin Skinner of Alford in Lincs to run from his mill to the mixer. We can even install these augers vertically although you will see a reduction in capacity for the increased steeper angle.
