Multimix MTX

The Cormall Multimix MTX reduces labour costs, tractor usage and size of feed passages and thereby increases efficiency and the number of cows housed. Cormall have developed control systems and manufacturing techniques so that the mixer can be used to feed fully automatically.
Mixing Principle

The mixing principle of the Cormall Multimix MTX
All the feed ingredients are loaded into the lower end of the mixer where it is transported to the top of the mixer by the two augers. Here opposite mounted auger blades combined push the material upwards into what can be described as a molehill, where it naturally falls naturally backwards.
The mixing of the various ingredients is carried out both by the augers during transport upwards as well as in the molehill. Smaller quantities of the diet should be added first followed by the larger components to ensure that vitamins and minerals are equally mixed in the mixture and to produce a completely homogeneous mix.

The travel principle of the top auger in the Cormall Multimix MTX
The transmission mixer is placed at the top in such a way to allow the top of the auger to travel up and down 50 mm to prevent stones being crushed. When using straw in the mixer, this also prevents the straw being compressed between the machine and the auger to ensure a homogeneous mix.
Experience has shown that machines last longer when all of the main hopper is produced with thicker 10 mm plating and not just in the area were the augers work. Furthermore the auger size is 15 mm. Combined with the very low energy usage needed for the mixing operation, the Multimix MTX has a long lasting life span as well as being energy efficient.

The low height of the Cormall Multimix MTX means smaller, cheaper equipment can be used to fill the mixer |

This system was developed in the early 1960's and originally used for manure handling. It is simple and easy to install. The chain conveyer system is the only active one that is self-cleaning. For automatic feeding the Cormall Dairy system is economical and can also work with smaller manger widths. It can also be used for group feeding of stock.

This system was developed in the 1960´s and has been sold since. It is mostly used on big farms from 500 to 1500 cows. The rubber belt conveyer is a very reliable system. It keeps the manger area free for driving and working with other machinery. It can work with longer mangers and can also be used for group feeding.
Railwagon

The Railwagon system was also developed in the 1960´s and was originally only used for distributing beet. It is a flexible system that keeps the manger area free for driving and working with other machinery. It is very suitable for farm sizes up to 450 cows, and a good system for group feeding.
